Jasna Polana is widely know among all as a strategic point during battles of liberation after the Second World War. This village is set in Pieskovca´s ridge and offers a nice view of Spisska Nova Ves and Hornadska kotlina (dell). There is a skiing-tow with artificial snow not far away from there, in Fercekovice- a suburb of Spisska Nova Ves.
